MSD 8963 Shift Light, installed in a Superformance Mark III

This light comes with complete instruction on how to wire and with a mounting bracket that clips onto the light.  The only unique thing you need to do for this installation is to fabricate a sheet metal bracket that attaches to the provided mount and extends under the steering column opening in the dash that can then be clamped to the steering column with a hose clamp behind the dash.  The part of the fabricated bracket that attaches to the light mount can be see in this photo.

When installed in this manner, this light provides a very bright indicator of the shift limit you desire without obstructing the view of other instruments.
