An attempt at keeping the fuel bowls a little cooler
This air cleaner provides a lot of clean air, but the drop base can trap a lot of heat
around the float bowls. Boiling fuel has been a problem in hot weather at altitude
This may be the solution to the heat problem if it will flow enough clean air.

as it has less mass and holds less fuel
